Our mission is to promote greater visibility and public awareness of women works in film, video, television, and related media arts. We strive for the highest standards of professionalism and integrity, and we are dedicated to a diverse and positive representation of women in media.

Using a screening and discussion format, we organize a monthly gathering with local women filmmakers to discuss their work, exchange experience, share their expertise and personal reflections about the making of films and the workings of the movie industry.

We are also the producing partners of Community Cinema, a groundbreaking public education and civic engagement initiative featuring free monthly screenings of films from the Emmy Award-winning series Independent Lens, part also of the Women and Girls Lead, a strategic media initiative that seeks to use the power of documentary storytelling and the reach of public media to connect and inspire viewers around the world about issues that affect girls and women.
